This assignment documents my acquired ability to manipulate digital audio. The final edited track was to be between
30-60 seconds long, contain one file of background music, one track of recorded voice with an obvious effect added.
The finished audio piece must also fade to silence at the end over a two second span.
I decided to create a biography for a famous artist my students learn about in class. I recorded my voice using Audacity, and used copyright free background
music from www.purpleplanet.com. Using the various tools in the Audacity program, I cut the undesirable
segments out of my narration to keep only certain pieces of the audio. I also used the fading tools and the repeat effects to adjust my audio
track as requested of the assignment.
